Privacy Policy

The short version

DailyGrid runs entirely in your web browser. The daily puzzle is generated locally on your device, and your guesses, streak and statistics are stored only in your browser’s localStorage. Your play data is never uploaded to any server and there is no account to create.

What stays on your device

Everything about your play — which guesses you made, whether you solved the puzzle, your current and best streak, and your statistics — is kept in localStorage on the device you play on. It is not sent to us, not stored on a server, and not synced across devices. Clearing your browser storage will reset it.

If your browser blocks storage (for example in private/incognito mode), the game still works but your streak and statistics are kept only for the current session.

No accounts, no progress uploads, no AI

There is no sign-up and no login. Puzzles are produced by a deterministic algorithm from the calendar date — they are never generated by an AI/large-language model and are never fetched from a server. No information about your play leaves your device.

No ads, no third-party tracking

This site currently shows no advertising and uses no third-party tracking analytics. We use only Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track or fingerprint individuals. We set no non-essential cookies. The game runs entirely in your browser and your play data is never uploaded.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on a server, there is no account profile to access, correct or delete. You remain in full control of the data on your own device and can clear it through your browser at any time. Where applicable law gives you rights over data handled by third-party analytics or ad providers, you can exercise those through your browser and ad-settings controls.

Server logs

The site is served through a standard web host/CDN, which may keep basic access logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify you and are never linked to your puzzle play.
